My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here today and it was exquisite! Our server Sue was attentive and extremely friendly, our appetizers were delightful and our meals were served fresh, hot and beyond delicious! We sat next to the fireplace and when we were done took in the rest of the scenery and incredible historic significance of The Oliver House! If you're looking for history, good service and great food.... look no more!
OMG. This place is amazing. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service. I can't think of anything I'd want more in a steakhouse. I had the ribeye and my wife had the filet. Both were cooked to perfection. We had the mushrooms and duck frites. We did not like the frites. They were cooked properly, we just didn't like them. The mushrooms were fantastic. There are 4 restaurants in the building all part of Maumee Bay Brewing, do I had to ask directions in the building to find the Rockwell's, lol. Totally worth it.
Great dinner....took the wife out on the town....started at Rockwell's and ended in South Toledo.......we enjoyed a great filet that was served on a sizzling plate, medium rare as ordered.....we have not been there in a while and it was as good as we remember....gonna have to make it more often....great service by the way, our server Dawn, has been there for years...right there when we needed here and very pleasant....a return visit in order when the in-laws come to town
Birthday dinner during Restaurant Week Toledo. Rockwell's might have the best steak in town. Excellent food. Nice atmosphere in a historic building. Great beer selection. We save it for special occasions. Started with their beer cheddar soup. Which is a must. My wife and I both had filet mignon. Which was great. We ordered mashed potatoes and asparagus as sides. The sides were huge...
We have not been to Rockwells in ages, as hear mixed reviews from friends. We decided to give them a try, as it has been so long, and it could not have been more perfect. Our server was excellent, and even confirmed the ingredients in our drinks from memory when we ordered some non mainstream cocktails. She did not rush, but was still very attentive. Most importantly, the food was fantastic
